RESPONSIBILITIES

Dick heads the Midwest office of Anderson & Associates located in Kansas City, MO. He provides executive search consulting services to a variety of industries, specializing in the technology, manufacturing, engineering, construction, and nonprofit sectors.

EXPERIENCE

Prior to search, Dick spent 28 years at the helm of market-leading companies in the manufacturing and technology sectors. He was both the President of the Buildings Division and then Executive Vice President/COO of Butler Manufacturing Company, a billion dollar publicly-traded construction products leader. He then was the Founder and CEO of fast-growing Sceptor Industries, a bioscience company that is now part of Evogen. He then joined his second private equity company as Vice President of CST Industries and President of its largest division, Columbian TecTank. Dick is a nationally-recognized business leader and a long time client of Anderson & Associates .

PERSONAL

Dick served two terms as Chairman of the Metal Building Manufacturers Association. His community service includes Chairman of The Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City, Chairman of INROADS-Kansas City, Vice President of his West Point class, Advisory Board of the Rockhurst University Business School, board member of the Midwest Coalition on Health Care, Business Council of the Nelson-Adkins Museum, Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentor, and Kansas Technology Pipeline Mentor.
