RESPONSIBILITIES
Anne provides support to senior consultants in executing research, as well as candidate identification and initial engagement activities in the areas of nonprofit agencies, associations, financial services, manufacturing and healthcare.
EXPERIENCE
Anne recently joined Anderson & Associates after a successful and varied career working in the brokerage industry and the field of social work. Most recently she worked for the broker-dealer firm, Banc of America Investment Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Bank of America. She was promoted to a senior sales role after increasing her quarterly sales from $700M to $2.5MM. Anne also worked as a Senior Compliance Officer leading compliance training sessions for Financial Advisors and their Supervisors. Anne was a lead representative for a corporate wide project that assessed compliance risk for the broker-dealer organization, and received recognition awards from peers and managers two consecutive years while in Compliance.
Prior to Anne’s financial services experience, she was a clinical social worker. She worked for The Family Center, and Duke University Medical Center’s Adult Psychiatric Ward. During her time at the Family Center, Anne worked with children and families with abuse and/or neglect issues, assisted with grant-writing, and led positive discipline classes for parents. In her role at Duke University Medical Center, Anne assessed and worked with patients and families, and led an adult skills group to help patients learn how to use healthy coping skills when in distress.
PERSONAL
Anne volunteers for various organizations in Charlotte, including past service as a member of MedAssist’s Speaker’s Bureau, and other agencies through Hands on Charlotte. She is a member of the Arts & Science Council's Cultural Leadership Training program.
