- Do we have scheduled meetings or more ad-hoc meetings?
- How important are relationships? How does one build them?
- How are decisions made? Where does power reside?
- Who are the key people this role needs to influence?
- What happens when mistakes are made?
- Did the previous incumbent succeed or fail? Why?
- How do you recognize or celebrate success for individual achievement? For groups?
- What’s more important – team performance or strong individual contributions? Individual achievement or collegial consensus?
- Do we rely on statistics and data or experience and intuition?
- How do we share goals and progress with employees?
